College is a very important step in the path of education that most consider it to be the pinnacle of one’s school years. This is where you take classes in your majored field and expand upon them for your future. But the Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected students in universities.
According to CNN, as college students gradually start to return to their campus, the number of Covid-19 cases has gone up as well. For example, on August 3rd, when students came back onto the campus of the University of Notre Dame, the school announced that they would be converting to remote learning because of the sudden spike in cases. In the school alone, about 304 students had tested positive for Covid-19.
There have been many more cases of universities switching back to remote learning: Boston University saw a .4% positivity rate, and universities in Kentucky, North Carolina, Alabama, Arizona, Massachusetts, Mississippi and elsewhere.
